Welcome to our Graphic Design and Visual Communications Program at South Shore Technical High School in Hanover, Massachusetts. Our shop serves the towns of Abington, Cohasset, Marshfield, Whitman, Hanson, Norwell, Scituate, Hanover, and Rockland. These 9 in-district towns middle school students have the choice to apply and attend our technical program for their pubic high school experience.
We provide students with a unique opportunity to explore the world of graphic design, photography, videography, animation, web design, and the fundamentals of design principles. Let's begin your creative journey together.

Graphic Design +
Visual Communication
Our program focuses on honing students' graphic design and visual communication skills to enhance their individual, creative expression and storytelling abilities. We provide a comprehensive learning experience tailored to individual aspirations.
Photography +
Videography
Immerse yourself in the art of photography and videography through our specialized instruction. Students learn to capture and create visual narratives that resonate with diverse audiences through multiple methods of image capture including digital cameras, video cameras and drone footage.
Digital +
Web Design
Unleash your imagination with our animation and web design projects. Students delve into the world of digital storytelling and interactive design, gaining hands-on experience with "reel" clients (see image left) in creating captivating digital experiences through Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Figma and Wix.
Screen / Embroidery
Digital Print
We offer students the opportunity to learn screen printing, embroidery, and digital printing. Our team helps bring creative visions to life, whether for school events or local initiatives. Join us in making a positive impact through the art of printing!
